The Boston Bruins took a tough Game 2 loss to the St. Louis Blues by the score of 3-2 in overtime.

The Stanley Cup Final now heads to St. Louis with the series tied 1-1 and becomes a best of 5 series.

Beside the empty netter he scored in Game 1, Marchand has been pretty quietly offensively during the series first two games with no points otherwise and a -2 rating along with six shots.

Of those six shots, only two of the came during Game 2 and Marchand shoulders the blame for the team's loss.

"We need to be better," Marchand said of his line, according toThe Athletic's Fluto Shinzawa. "Personally, I wasn't good the last two games. We can't be playing like that."

Marchand and linemate Patrice Bergeron have combined for eight turnovers through the first two games, the Blues have been pushing them defensively.

"They just competed hard," Marchand said. "They won a lot of battles in our zone. They have really good sticks. So they turn a lot of pucks over and created some offense off that."
