The Boston Bruins announced some major injury news on Tuesday.�
Boston will be down one defenseman for the remainder of the season after surgery.�
Jakub Zboril is out for the year after surgery for his torn ACL in his right knee.�
The successful surgery happened on December 16.�
The 24 year old had 3 assists in 10 games so far this season after registering 9 assists in 42 games last year, his first full season in the NHL.�
Head coach Bruce Cassidy also announced that Brandon Carlo has been placed in COVID protocol.�
