With the return of Derek Forbort nearing, the Boston Bruins need to find cap space.
Due to this, NHL insider Elliotte Friedman announced a roster move by Don Sweeney:
Anton Stralman, 36, has been placed on waivers by the Bruins. In eight games this season, the veteran has zero points and is minus three.
As per Bruins Network on Twitter:
''Boston is clearing some cap while anticipating the return of Forbort from LTIR and possibly opening up a contract spot in the process. Stralman is solid and at $1m this season, I'd think someone may claim him. Still think there's some other move(s) in the works here.''
