The New York Rangers had a Saturday afternoon they would probably like to forget about!
The Rangers started the third period up 3-0 against the Edmonton Oilers at home, but unfortunately, they completely blew up. In a span of around 13 minutes in the final frame, the Oilers scored four unanswered goals to take a 4-3 lead.
Leon Draisaitl scored the game-winner with just over two minutes remaining, and on his way to the bench for fist bumps, he reminded Jacob Trouba to stay out of his way. (see below)
Draisaitl nonchalantly smacks the New York captain's stick out of his hands before celebrating with the rest of his team. Maybe other teams feel free to do this to the Rangers after they traded away their only tough guy Ryan Reaves.
