Will the Arizona Coyotes be getting a brand new NHL arena!?
After Tuesday night, the club officially got one step closer to doing just that. As Temp City Council held a vote to approve the Coyotes' arena bid.
TSN's Chris Johnston shared the results:
''With Gary Bettman and Bill Daly in attendance, Tempe City Council has voted unanimously in favour of approving the Arizona Coyotes proposed arena and entertainment district.''
'The project will now be put to a referendum of local citizens in May.''
The vote was 7-0 to approve of the new arena/entertainment district in Tempe. The team must now collect signatures for the referendum on May 16th.
