The Boston Bruins hosted the Tampa Bay Lightning Tuesday night at TD Garden, hoping to keep their already record-setting start at home going.

Tuesday's Atlantic Division matchup was an instant classic and a goaltending dual that ended in a tight 3-1 win for the Bruins.

As per Ty Anderson:

''Bruins have now won five straight games against the Lightning dating back to last season. It's their longest win streak vs. TBL since a 10-game streak from Mar. 2012 to Mar. 2015.''

Boston improves to 13-0-0 at home with two goals from Taylor Hall and an empty netter from Brad Marchand. For the Lightning, Steven Stamkos scored their lone marker of the night, which was also his 999th career point (494G, 505A).
