Charlie McAvoy takes a puck to the face

Charlie McAvoy is playing in just his ninth game of the season, but he's already taken a beating since returning.
McAvoy took an accidental punch to the face the other night when defending a two-on-two rush, and tonight it was (almost) way worse.
As he was battling the forward in front of Jeremy Swayman, a shot from the top of the circle caught McAvoy in the face, and he immediately went down (see below):
The B's number-one defenseman left for the dressing room right after but did return after knowing everything was okay. That could have been really bad!
It appears as though he was already sporting a new shiner, though!
