The Boston Bruins star David Pastrnak is heating up. In the last two games against the New York Islanders, and Toronto Maple Leafs he's had multi-point games.

The Bruins are fortunate to have David Pastrnak in the lineup, as the team has seen him produce 4 points.

That equals two multi-point games for the forward, as he's on a points streak, scoring 6 points(5 G, 1 A) in 5 games.

The dynamic forward is earning every penny of his contract as he's been benefitting from the coaching of Joe Sacco.

In fact, for Pastrnak, it was the first time that he's scored multiple goals in back-to-back games in almost two full calendar years, having last accomplished that during a three-game stretch where he scored eight goals in three games in total during the B's California trip in Jan. 2023.

One of Boston's assistant captains, Pastrnak's recent surge here is the kind of take-charge leadership that the at times offensively challenged Bruins need, as the 28-year-old has had a direct hand in five of the last nine goals scored by the team. His 22 shots over that span are also the most on the team throughout this recent winless slide, with a nine-shot lead over second-place Brad Marchand, and his five takeaways are also the most among all Bruins over that four-game sample.

Pastrnak is in year two of his eight-year deal which pays him $11.25 Million annually and has been a point-per-game player this season for the Bruins.

David Pastrnak is signed to a 8 year, $90,000,000 contract with a cap hit of $11,250,000 per season, currently playing for the Boston Bruins. His contract was signed on March 2, 2023, and expires at the end of the 2030-31 season, when Pastrnak will be 35 years old.

This season he's played 42 games for the Bruins, on the 1st-line, with linemates Pavel Zacha, and Morgan Geekie.

He's scored 42 points(17 G, 25 A) as the Bruins top-forward, and could be the one Bruins forward can be counted on to score reliably.
