Major Development: Boston Bruins Insider Issues Significant Update Regarding Lindholm's Ongoing Injury
A Boston Bruins insider has issued a huge update regarding Hampus Lindholm's injury and things are starting to look good for the Boston Bruins.
This morning the Boston Bruins received some huge news regarding Hampus Lindholm after being injured on November 12th.
Lindholm went to block a shot from Justin Faulk of the St. Louis Blues when it hit is knee, and would end up fracturing his knee forcing him to leave the game and not return.
A couple days later the Bruins were informed that the shot fractured his knee, and he would be out roughly six weeks before being able to return back to the Boston Bruins lineup.
It's been almost two months since Lindholm suffered this injury, and he has not started skating yet, until this morning.
Boston Bruins insider Andrew Fantucchio revealed this morning that since missing the previous 25 games for the Boston Bruins, Lindholm has not skated, but that all changed this morning as Lindholm was a part of the Bruins skate.
Hampus Lindholm has missed the last 25 games since getting hurt. Before then, there was an argument to be made he had been the best and most consistent player for the #NHLBruins. Skating for, assumably, the first time today, is a significant step toward a return.
Right before the injury took place, Lindholm was easily the Bruins best and most consistent player on the ice, and was eating a lot of ice time after having a down year during the 2023-24 season.
The Boston Bruins are hopeful that when Lindholm comes back, he comes back at 100% and there isn't a high chance he re-injures his knee.
