The NHL has had several jersey suppliers from CCM, Reebok and now Adidas.
And now the league is going to have to reach a new deal with another company as Adidas will not be renewing it's contract with the NHL.
As per ESPN's Greg Wyshynski:
''BREAKING NEWS: @adidas will not return as the NHL's official supplier of uniforms and apparel when their contract expires after the 2023-24 season, multiple sources confirmed to ESPN.''
He continued in his article titled Adidas won't seek to renew NHL uniform and apparel deal after 2023-24 season, league says:
''The seven-year deal deal began in the 2017-18 season after Adidas replaced Reebok, which had been the NHL's uniform supplier since the 2005-06 season. Adidas also partnered with the NHL and the NHLPA to make jerseys for the 2016 World Cup of Hockey.''
