By now everyone has probably heard about the actions of Brad Marchand against the Penguins. At first Marchand was in peak pest form, but clearly by the end of the game that behavior escalated. Because of that escalation Marchand is scheduled to have an in-person hearing via zoom with the NHL.

After last night's game Bruins' Head Coach had this to say about one of his leaders actions during this important game.

"Lack of discipline obviously on Brad's part. I just watched the replay. It looks like some words were exchanged... Brad's a leader on our team. He needs to control his emotions in that situation."

Clearly Cassidy is not happy with a membership of his team's leadership group, especially given it appears Patrice Bergeron is expected to miss time after suffering a head injury last night.

After speaking about the Marchand incident Cassidy was asked about the difference in tonight's game and he didn't sugar coat his answer when he hung out his sophomore goalie for a poor performance. Cassidy put it simply...

"They got saves...we didn't."

With the Bruins set to play the Hurricanes tomorrow night the expectation is that Linus Ullmark will be between the pipes for the Bruins.
