Patrice Bergeron Injury Update - Expected to Miss Time
After an awkward collision with Sidney Crosby last night the Boston Bruins Captain Patrice Bergeron fell awkwardly into the boards and struck his head and neck. There was no call on the play against Crosby, despite the play clearly being interference. Bergeron left the game and did not return.
According to the Bruins Patrice did suffer a head injury on the play and he won't be eligible to play tomorrow against the Hurricanes, but head coach Bruce Cassidy did not mention the word concussion.
If this injury does end up being a concussion it could mean a significant absence for our Captain who has a history of dealing with concussions in the past.
