The Boston Bruins put together back to back 5-2 wins over the weekend beating the New Jersey Devils on Saturday and the Montreal Canadiens on Sunday.
Back to back games usually involve some lineup changes, however there were two changes that weren't made that surprised some.
Goalie JeremySwayman started both games while defenseman Jakub Zboril played Saturday and didn't sit the second game so Mike Reilly could jump back in.
As a matter of fact, it sounds like Zboril might have stolen Reilly's jump after starting the majority of the season in the press box.
"Jakub's worked hard to be ready," Cassidy said before the game. "He was yesterday. He was ready to play. That's a good sign for him. He's a good pro. In years past, I'm not sure he would have done that. Hopefully, that translates again tonight. That's why he's going back in. It's not a one-and-done. If he can stay ready and sharp, then go. Go take someone's job."
Zboril has looked good so far and even got some ice time skating beside Charlie McAvoy.
Do you think Zboril looks better than Reilly?
