NHL insider Elliotte Friedman has reported that the Boston Bruins are interested in one of the league's top free agent centres.
As per Friedman, it's one of Brad Marchand's enemies from the previous season:
''[The Bruins are] believed to have interest [in Vincent Trochek].''
This past season with the Hurricanes he recorded 17 goals and 43 points in 47 games. The 2021-2022 season saw his most productive year since 2017-2018 when he had 21 goals and 51 points in 81 games.
Of course, this past season Trocheck and Marchand shared verbal jabs after being called a rat, Marchand referred to Trocheck as a 'Prius'' with himself being a 'Lamborghini''.
