The Boston Bruins and General Manager, Don Sweeney have spent this summer trying to reunite the magic of previous Bruins' teams.

Sweeney was able to convince David Krejcí and Patrice Bergeron to return to the Bruins; however, its Pasta who has drawn a lot of attention.
David Pastrnak has been eligible to sign an extension since July 13th, but there has been zero progress on that front. Now it seems like Bruins fans may need to be a little more concerned than originally thought.
The Czech native recently conducted an interview at home and he was asked if he was going to re-sign with the Bruins after this season and he gave a rather ominous answer.
''Now I'm going into my ninth season and I haven't won anything yet. Time flies and I regret it every year. On the other hand, I'm healthy and I'm not worried about preparing for the new season, which I haven't been able to do in the last three years.''

This quote should create a little bit of concern for Bruins fans. A previously reported rift between Pasta and Sweeney could reemerge. No matter how this season goes, the Bruins should be focused on do everything possible to extend Pasta.
Of course, take these comments however you want, as it can be interpreted as a good or bad thing. In a sense, Pasta seems fired up and ready to go more than anything.
A Czech speaking fan replied to the tweet with a comment that may give B's fans a little more hope:
''So as someone that speaks Czech, I would just change the "I regret it every year" part of the quote to something more along the lines of the not winning making him ‘feel bad/sad' every year.''

‘'For me personally, I think the best English equivalent that captures the meaning of the quote in my eyes (even if it's not linguistically 100% accurate) would be time flies and it's disappointing every year.''

If an extension for Pastrnak isn't in place by the end of this season's training camp, then would be the time to really worry about his future in Boston.
