Projected 2023 number one pick, Connor Bedard, continued his terrific tournament with the 2-0 goal late in the first:
Canada would score two powerplay goals in the second period, one by Dallas Stars prospect Logan Stankoven and this beauty by Anaheim Ducks Mason McTavish to make the game 4-0:
Team Czechia didn't go down without a fight, though, as halfway through the third, they scored two quick ones to make it 4-2:
Montreal Canadiens prospect Joshua Roy would seal the deal for Canada with 5:34 remaining, however:
Canada advances to the gold medal final, which will take place Saturday at 8 PM EST. They will play the winner of the other semifinal matchup between Finland and Sweden.
