The Boston Bruins' most recent first-round pick continues to rack up the points in the Western Hockey League (WHL) playoffs.

Fabian Lysell from Goteborg, Sweden, was drafted in the first round (21st overall) in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. Lysell joined the Vancouver Giants of the WHL for the 2021-22 season and amassed 22 goals and 40 assists in 53 games played in the regular season.

Although he was an impressive 1.17 point-per-game scorer in the regular season, he has elevated his game even more, when it matters, in the postseason.

The 19-year-old started the playoffs with an impressive five-assist game against the Everett Silvertips in Vancouver's 5-4 win. He followed that up with one assist in a 7-3 loss in game two and then one goal and one assist in a 6-3 loss in game three.

Even though the Giants are down 2-1 in the series, Lysell has one goal and seven assists on just eleven goals scored by Vancouver. He has contributed to 72.7% of his team's total offence.
