Boston Bruins captain Patrice Bergeron was nominated as one of three finalists for the Frank J. Selke Trophy early Tuesday morning. The Selke is awarded to the NHL forward that best displays his strength in the defensive zone.
This is Bergeron's 11th straight season being a finalist, and he's won it four times in his career, the last time being 2017. The Bruins released a video of Bergeron's defensive dominance over the course of the 2021-22 season, and it's pretty incredible to see how much dedication he puts into his own end as a forward who also contributes regularly offensively.
