The Boston Bruins were on the ice for practice this morning and the team rolled out some new-look special teams.

The acquisition of star defenseman Hampus Lindholm by GM Don Sweeney prior to the NHL trade deadline was sure to shake up the Bruins lines from here to the end of the regular season.

However, with Lindholm hopping on with his new teammates for the first time today, the B's power play units weren't altered to accomodate the defenseman who just signed an eight-year contract earlier this week.

Should B's fans be worried? Is this just until Lindholm gets familiar with the team's systems?

As per this morning, here's what the Bruins power play units looked like:

Brad Marchand - Patrice Bergeron - Taylor Hall
Charlie McAvoy - David Pastrnak

Jake Debrusk - Charlie Coyle - Craig Smith
Matthew Grzelcyk - Erik Haula

Despite not practicing on the Bruins power plays waves, Lindholm was on the ice with the penalty killing units. He skated alongside Connor Clifton for those line rushes.

While Lindholm's career has yet to kick off with the Bruins, let's hope the defenseman can settle in quickly and have a meaningful impact right from the start.
