The Edmonton Oilers have defeated the Calgary Flames four games to one and are headed to the Western Conference Finals for the first time since 2006.
And it's thanks to their captain Connor McDavid who ended game five in overtime. After collecting 2 goals and 9 assists in the first four games, McDavid had a relatively quiet game with no points through the regulation, but he was saving it for when it really mattered.
Check out McDavid's overtime winner here:
Edmonton will face either the Colorado Avalanche or the St. Louis Blues in the Western Conference Finals. Game six of that series is Friday night in St. Louis, with the Avalanche leading the series 3-2.
