The first four games of the Battle of Alberta has definitely lived up to the hype, and game five hasn't been any different.
After a slower first period that saw the Flames end the frame with a 1-0 lead, they also took a 2-0 lead early in the second. The Oilers would storm back with two quick goals to tie it. Edmonton was given a powerplay at 14:29 of the period, and then the madness happened.
After a Zach Hyman go-ahead-goal, the Flames and Oilers would score a combined four goals in the span of 1:11. Which would set an NHL record for the four quickest goals in an NHL playoff game, beating the old record by 22 seconds.
