Crazy update on Kuemper's eye injury suffered early in playoffs

Colorado Avalanche goaltender Darcy Kuemper was struck in the eye by Nashville Predators forward Ryan Johansen in the first round of playoffs.
The goalie was in such excruciating pain he wasn't even able to make it off the ice.
Kuemper fell to the ice before finally being helped off the ice but a trainer.
Colorado head coach Jared Bednar provided an update on the struggle that Kuemper went through play at a high level again.
''During the Stanley Cup playoffs, Bednar says Darcy Kuemper had to go to optometrist 2-3 times a day to �re-train his eye.'
Not only did Kuemper have to work his way back into the lineup, but he had to work with a professional to re-train his eye.
