Defenseman Derek Forbort was a full participant at practice for the first time since undergoing surgery on a broken finger. He suffered the injury after blocking a shot against the Pittsburgh Penguins on November 1st.
Forbort had been skating with coaches prior to team practices lately but finally became a full-participant Tuesday morning as the Boston Bruins prepare for the Florida Panthers on Wednesday.
The defenseman dropped some funny quotes when asked about his rehab, including how a broken elevator has kept his cardio up:
''My elevator's been broken so I've been carrying my dog [Darla] up the stairs four times a day, so conditioning should be fine.''

But, maybe his best sound-bite was when he was asked about finally being back with the team for a full practice.
''It was fun. I've been doing drills the last week. It was fun to get in some game situations, make some plays, and try to hit
Jake Debrusk.''
