The Toronto Maple Leafs ended the New Jersey Devils' winning streak at 13 games (one shy of a franchise record) with a 2-1 win on Wednesday night. However, the game did not come without its controversy!
The Devils had THREE goals disallowed on the night, two for goaltender interference and one for a kicking motion. After the third one was called back, the Jersey fans littered the ice with drinks, garbage etc. (see below)
The Maple Leafs team was forced to leave the bench at 11:07 of the third until the crowd settled down. Below is a video of all three goals that were disallowed for New Jersey last night. You be the judge!
