The NHL continues to show its inconsistency when it comes to goaltender interference, but this one may be the worse one to date!
During the first period of the New Jersey Devils and Toronto Maple Leafs game tonight, the Devils had a goal called back after a very suspect call. It was actually called no goal on the ice and after a coach's challenge.
As you can see, Nate Bastian's skate hardly clips the skate of Leafs goalie Matt Murray. It doesn't even look as though it gave Murray any trouble in making the save.
