ESPN announces release date for 'Unrivaled' documentary on Red Wings - Avs rivalry

ESPN is releasing an E60 documentary titled "Unrivaled," which is about the brawl between the Detroit Red Wings and the Colorado Avalanche on March 26th, 1997.
The rivalry started during game six of the 1996 Western Conference Finals at McNichols Arena in Denver, when Claude Lemieux checked Kris Draper from behind into the dasher board, resulting in numerous facial injuries.
ESPN will debut the documentary Sunday at 1 p.m. EST, with a special premiere prior to game six of the Stanley Cup Final between the Colorado Avalanche and Tampa Bay Lightning (if necessary).
Those interviewed from the teams involved include:
Darren McCarty, Kris Draper, Mike Knuble, Vladimir Konstantinov (and his daughter Anastasia), Brendan Shanahan, Mike Vernon and Steve Yzerman; former coach Scotty Bowman and former trainer John Wharton of the Detroit Red Wings.
Claude Lemieux, Patrick Roy, Adam Foote, Peter Forsberg, Mike Ricci, Joe Sakic, trainer Pat Karns and former coach Marc Crawford of the Colorado Avalanche.
