Adam McQuaid was drafted 55th overall by the Columbus Blue Jackets at the 2005 NHL Entry Draft but spent nine of his ten NHL seasons on the Boston Bruins blueline.
Since around September 2021, McQuaid has been the Player Development Coordinator for the Bruins, which "provides administrative and analytical support for player development by creating schedules, reports and analyses."
As the 2022 Rookie Development Camp is underway for the organization, McQuaid is busy on and off the ice with the franchise's prospects. He spoke to the media Wednesday morning to discuss his role:
As per Bruins Twitter:
Adam McQuaid on his role as Player Development Coordinator "It's been a really enjoyable experience for me to get to know these guys and grow that relationship to help them reach where they want to get to"
