Former Boston Bruins head coach Claude Julien has found a new job in the hockey world. Julien was behind the B's bench for 10 seasons, leading the club to a Stanley Cup championship in 2011.
It was reported earlier this summer that the veteran coach was looking to get another NHL job, but as that didn't pan out, he was forced to find a job elsewhere. He will now become an advisor for HC Ambri-Piotta of the National League, and will certainly share his experience with the current coaches and managers, as well as the players.
Julien is also a columnist on BPM Sports, and he most recently served as head coach of Team Canada at the Olympic Games and the World Hockey Championships.
In 750 games as the head coach of the Bruins, the Ontario native finished with a record of 419-245-6, along with a 57-40 playoff record. The team made the postseason in 7 of his 9 full seasons behind the bench.
