Boston Bruins goaltender Linus Ullmark sat down with 'Bruins Academy' to discuss his youth hockey days in rural Sweden.
Ullmark was born July 31st, 1993, in Lugnvik, a small municipality in Sweden with a population under 500 people.
The Swede was drafted in the sixth round (163rd overall) by the Buffalo Sabres at the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.
The goaltender describes how the local rink was always open, and they even played most of the time outdoors. Sometimes so cold that they would only stay outside for 15 minutes at a time.
