The Boston Bruins hosted the Minnesota Wild in a Saturday matinee at TD Garden that went the distance and finished in an overtime final.
This afternoon's game was special as recently retired Zdeno Chara, and his two sons were on hand to participate in the ceremonial puck drop prior to the matchup.
Both teams went 1 for 5 on the powerplay, and the Wild opened the scoring with a shorthanded goal. Boston finished with a 43 to 27 edge in shots.
