Safe to say that Brad Marchand and his hips are looking pretty good because he showed in his return last night that he hasn't missed a beat.

The Detroit Red Wings visited TD Garden to face the Boston Bruins in what was a tight affair for the first two periods. The Bruins broke away in the third period with three goals, and Jeremy Swayman bounced back with 28 saves.
The Bruins outshot the Red Wings 33 to 29 and went 3 for 6 on the powerplay, while Detroit went 0 for 5. Boston is now 7-1-0 and sits in first place in the NHL with 14 total points.
