There's not a lot to complain about when it comes to the 2022-23 Boston Bruins, but there has been one constant problem in recent games.

To be more specific, since defenseman Derek Forbort was injured against the Pittsburgh Penguins on November 1st. Forbort has been on the LTIR since undergoing surgery on a finger he broke, blocking a shot (surprise). Without him in the lineup, the Bruins penalty kill has suffered.

Most notable was the Bruins giving up three powerplay goals to the Florida Panthers on Wednesday in a 5-3 loss. It proves how much this team misses a presence like Forbort on the back end.

Forbort averages 2:28 of shorthanded time on ice per game in his career, and it's been noticeable since he's been in Boston.
