Jake Debrusk netted the first hat trick of his career against the Kings last night.

While finding the back of the net a trio of times in a single game is an impressive feat in itself, the winger's hat trick was a natural one, meaning that all three of his goals were scored one after another.

Thanks to his natural hat trick, Debrusk was able to add his name to the Bruins already rich history books.

Debrusk's performance was the second natural hat trick by a Bruins player this season, after Patrice Bergeron completed the feat himself back on November 4, 2021. That being said, the 2021-22 season becomes just the third in the past 39 years to feature multiple Boston skaters who've scored a natural hat trick.

Past duos to have scored three consecutive goals in a single game, in the same season, include Adam Oates and Steve Heinze (1995-96), as well as Adam Oates and Cam Neely (1993-94).
