Goaltender Jeremy Swayman had a terrific rookie season with the Boston Bruins, appearing in 41 games, with a record of 39-32-14, a 2.41 GAA, .914 SV% and three shutouts. However, ahead of the 2022-23 NHL season, the Alaskan native is looking to make Bruins franchise history with another excellent year.

As per NHL Public Relations:

''Jeremy Swayman enters 2022-23 looking to follow up a season that saw him post the fourth-most wins in a campaign by a Bruins rookie goaltender. The Anchorage, Alaska native, who turns 24 on Nov. 24, also tied Bob Janecyk (23 in 1984-85) for the fifth-most wins in NHL history by a U.S.-born goaltender in their rookie season, trailing only Jimmy Howard (37 in 2009-10 w/ DET), Frank Brimsek (33 in 1938-39 w/ BOS), Ryan Miller (30 in 2005-06 w/ BUF) and Tom Barrasso (26 in 1983-84 w/ BUF).''

Through 54 career games, Swayman has registered 32 wins, and if he can earn 34 this season, he will officially have the most wins by a Bruins goaltender before the age of 25. With a November birthday, the goaltender also has at least a month to collect wins next season as well.

Swayman got out to a rough start this season, but after his last performance against the Detroit Red Wings, let's hope he's found a groove to start trending up.
