Providence Bruins defenseman Nick Wolff throws massive hit then drops the gloves (VIDEO)

Nick Wolff is a defenseman for the Boston Bruins AHL affiliate, the Providence Bruins, and has been showing the heavy physicality he likes to play with lately.
The P-Bruins were playing the Charlotte Checkers Friday night, and Wolff landed a massive hit on a forward trying to enter the zone, then immediately dropped the gloves when challenged to a fight soon after.
Wolff, who stands at 6-foot-5-inches and weighs 223 pounds, was undrafted by signed by the Bruins to an entry-level deal after four seasons in the NHCH with the University of Minnesota-Duluth. In three years in Providence since Wolff has registered 11 assists and 110 penalty minutes in 62 games.
