Head coach Jim Montgomery has provided an update on the injured David Krejci.
The veteran missed Sunday's game against the Vegas Golden Knights with a lower-body injury. After he was not seen on the ice for the morning skate on Tuesday, Montgomery shared an official update on his number-two centre.
As per Conor Ryan of The Boston Sports Journal:
Montgomery: Krejci out tonight. If it was the playoffs, he'd likely play. Bruins just want to be ''precautionary.''
Krejci, 36, has registered eight goals and 13 assists in 23 games this season. With an assist in Colorado last Wednesday, he became the ninth player in Bruins history to record 750 points with the franchise.
