Who has impressed new bench boss Jim Montgomery the most?
Well veteran forward Nick Foligno is very high on that list. Montgomery appeared on a recent episode of Spittin' Chiclets, and shared huge admiration for the Bruins forward.
Explaining why the 35-year-old is having a bounce back season.
Montgomery has been the perfect leader for this Boston team (as has Foligno). He brings up an excellent point about the family struggles of coming to a new team that fans don't see.
Foligno, who had just 2 goals and 11 assists in 65 games last season, already has 6 goals and 12 assists in his second season with the Bruins.
