Over the last couple of weeks, chatter has really started to build up regarding the Bruins trying to land a top six winger.
The Bruins were just a couple of goals away from winning the Stanley Cup last year, unfortunately they simply just put too much weight on the shoulders of the Bruins' first line.
David Krejci needs some help on the second line, however the problem is the Bruins don't have much salary cap space with just $712k cap space at the moment.
To land anything significant the team needs to clear some space and that's why defenseman John Moore might be on his way out.
Moore is signed through the 2022-23 season with a cap hit of $2.75million per season.
Jimmy Murphy of Boston Hockey Now reports that have talked trade with possibly Moore going to Chicago to fill their need on the blueline.
Moore has played 15 games this season and has registered two goals and an assist.
