Game five at Madison Square Garden between the New York Rangers and the Tampa Bay Lightning appeared to be headed to overtime.
The score was tied 1-1 with under two minutes to go until a Mikhail Sergachev wrist shot from the point found its way in.
The Lightning now head back home to Amalie Arena with a 3-2 series lead after losing the first two games of the round.
