Boston Bruins captain Patrice Bergeron was a finalist for the Frank J. Selke for the 11th straight year and won it for a record fifth time in his career for the 2021-22 season.
The Bruins shared a video this afternoon of several past recipients of the award congratulating Bergeron on his win. The video includes NHL greats such as Doug Jarvis, Doug Gilmour, Rod Brind'Amour, Kris Draper, Michael Peca, Bob Gainey and Pavel Datsyuk.
Brind'Amour said it best: "I think at this point they should just rename it after you."
