As I'm sure all NHL fans know by now, the Edmonton Oilers have a young fan who has been the lucky charm that they've rallied around.

Young Oilers' super fan Ben Stelter who is battling brain cancer, has been a true inspiration to the Oilers and the entire hockey world. 5-year-old Ben has a type of brain cancer known as glioblastoma and was diagnosed with the tumour over one year ago. He underwent four rounds of chemotherapy and 30 radiation treatment sessions to remove it, but the tumour returned before Christmas, prompting Ben to continue his battle with additional rounds of radiation.

Ben and his family were touring Disneyland and were able to be in attendance at Crypto.com Arena as the Oilers and Los Angeles Kings played game four of the series.

Ben was invited to the Oilers' locker room to give the team fist bumps for good luck before the game:

The moment that's all over social media right now was post-game. After Edmonton lost 4-0 on Sunday night and could not take a commanding 3-1 series lead, Ben was the one seen consoling Oilers' captain Connor McDavid after the game.

Ben's grandfather Ron Lawrence, posted this picture to his Twitter after the game, saying that Ben was the one giving McDavid the pep talk:

Even though the Kings and Oilers are battling it out on the ice in the playoffs, everyone knows that there's no tougher battle than what you Ben Stelter is fighting right now:

Ben was recently presented with his own hockey card featuring him and Connor McDavid, as well as a larger replica signed by the Oilers. His official trading card is now on e-Pack for a limited time, and Upper Deck stated that "all net proceeds will go directly to the Kids With Cancer Society."
