NHL announces where the next outdoor game will be

The NHL usually holds three annual outdoor games: The Heritage Classic, Stadium Series and Winter Classic.
And on the latest segment of Hockey Night in Canada, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman announced some major news regarding the next instalment of the Heritage Classic.
''The Heritage Classic is returning to Edmonton next year. This is going to be a Battle of Alberta.''
It's official, The Battle of Alberta between the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames is heading outside, as the 2023 Heritage Classic will be played at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton.
The first-ever outdoor NHL game was held at Commonwealth Stadium in 2003 between the Oilers taking and Montreal Canadiens. Edmonton defeated the Canadiens 4-3 in front of a crowd of 57,167, temperatures close to −18 �C and reaching −30 �C (−22 �F) with wind chill.
