The Boston Bruins have a long history. The club was created in 1924, making it the third-oldest among active teams and the oldest U.S.-based team in the NHL.
With an illustrious history comes many records set and many records to be broken.
On this day in 2018, David Pastrnak became the youngest player, at 21 years of age, in NHL history to record at least 6 points in a playoff game. Pasta scored 3 goals and added 2 assists in a 7-3 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs in Game 2 of the first round.
The Bruins would go on to win the series in 7 games before losing in 5 games to the Tampa Bay Lightning in round 2.
