Highly doubtful this will happen again anytime soon, but let's throw it back to nine years ago when the Boston-Montreal rivalry was at its most recent peak.
On this day in 2011, the Habs were in Boston, and the game took quite the turn.
With the Bruins leading 8-5 in the last minute of play, all hell broke loose when Andrew Ference and Travis Moen dropped the gloves. That was followed by an all out line brawl between the teams.
This wasn't the first fights of the game either, as even Tim Thomas and Carey Price dropped the gloves in the second period. Although, nothing really came of that.
The two teams combined for six fights and 182 penalty minutes on the night. Check out all the action from that night below!
One interesting thing to note is how much Jack Edwards has changed over the years. It's clear that he was 'in his prime'' here but has unfortunately gone down hill with age since.
