Patrick Kane is one of the top trade targets available heading into the Trade Deadline, and we now know where he won't be going.
After Vladimir Tarasenko was traded from the St. Louis Blues to the New York Rangers on Thursday, Kane shared his frustration with the media:
'It's not like the happiest I've been to hear about a trade. I think the Rangers are a team that you definitely pay attention to and definitely are intrigued by, for obvious reasons.''
The veteran is from Buffalo and the Rangers were a top destination for him - as he explains in the statement below - but not anymore.
''If things were going to happen, that was a team I was definitely looking at. It seems like they kind of filled their void and went ahead and made a deal, so it is what it is.''
Where will Kane go now?
