Besides the off-season, now is the time of season to see which teams have the assets to give away, specifically prospects-wise.
The Athletic recently re-ranked every prospect pool by strength, giving us insight into which contenders will have the bargaining chips come March 3rd.
@puckreportnhl shared the ranking to Instagram:
Prior to the season, the Bruins held the last place spot in the NHL, but have now improved to 30th. Still, not great but there's some solace in the fact that draft picks are performing well.
The Athletic ranked Boston's prospects as follows:

2. Mason Lohrei (D) - NCAA
3. Matthew Poitras (F) - OHL
4. Jakub Lauko (F) - AHL
5. Georgi Merkulov (F) - AHL
6. Riley Duran (F) - NCAA
7. Kyle Keyser (G) - AHL
8. John Beecher (F) - AHL
9. Brett Harrison (F) - OHL
10. Trevor Kuntar (F) - NCAA
