On May 10th, 1979, the Boston Bruins were playing the Montreal Canadiens in game seven of the Conference Finals.
If you're a Bruins fan, you know what happened. With 2:34 left on the clock, Don Cherry's Bruins got caught with too many men on the ice, and Guy Lafleur took full advantage of the opportunity, one-timing in the tying goal to send the game to overtime.
Yvon Lambert of the Canadiens scored the series-winning goal at 9:33 of the first overtime to send his team to the Stanley Cup Finals against the New York Rangers.
However, another memorable moment happened after the game, when Don Cherry spoke to the media, giving them the perfect sound bites.
