As we all know, David Pastrnak knows how to put up the points on the ice, but as head coach Jim Montgomery recently shared, the forward does a lot more than that for the Boston Bruins.
When meeting with the media on Friday afternoon, the B's bench boss noted how Pasta is somewhat of the ''ultimate'' teammate.
''I had heard how wonderful a teammate he is through discussions you hear throughout the league.''
''One thing that was apparent to me right away when I got here was sitting down with the staff, and [Chris Kelly] said he thought Pasta was the most connected to everybody in the locker room, to speak about his leadership.''
''Whether it's young guys or old guys, he has a bond with everybody.''
