With two goals Saturday night against the Buffalo Sabres, Patrice Bergeron bumped his career stat line to 407 goals and 589 assists for a total of 996 points.
The captain of the Boston Bruins is near an incredible personal milestone, as he's now just four points away from 1000 in the NHL, all with the Bruins.
Only 93 players in NHL history have reached 1000 points, and unless Steven Stamkos records 15 before Bergeron gets four, the Bruins captain will be the 94th player to reach the milestone.
Although four points in one game is a tall ask, you never know with a legend like Patrice Bergeron. Just last season, he recorded his 400th goal in dramatic style by scoring a hat trick against the Montreal Canadiens late in the season.
It's also confirmed that he will start the game tonight against the Vancouver Canucks with David Pastrnak and Brad Marchand, or ''The Perfection Line'' as they're known.
Can he do it tonight?
