It's been a highly talked about and debated point for many years now. Are Gary Bettman and the NHL bad at marketing the sport?
It's easy to say, yes. But now there's obvious proof.
Thanks to NHL player agent, Allan Walsh, who shared a report on viewership number for the All-Star game in all North American professional sports.
And it doesn't look good for the NHL:
''Hard, cold facts on the way Gary markets NHL players and sells the game. All-star game viewership is a significant measure of how the various leagues market their superstars.''
